The second house features its own bathroom, a bedroom and all the comforts of a home away from home.

Fantastic stay at Vlado’s place. Really beautiful and private setting. Pool is fabulous, nestled in an olive grove. Plenty of shaded outdoor space to enjoy. Accommodation is really comfortable and well equipped and maintained. Best of all, Vlado and his wife couldn’t be nicer hosts. Meeting us on arrival to show us how everything worked, and making us a delicious cheese pie. So friendly and welcoming on our first trip to Croatia!

We were staying in the area for a few days visiting family. We received a lovely warm welcome with home made cheese pastries and cold beer which was much appreciated. The pool and garden are lovely for relaxing in the warm weather and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is obvious that a great deal of love and care has been invested into this place and it is spotlessly clean. The accommodation consists of two buildings. One has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen/living area and the other is a small studio with kitchen and dining area and a double bed then a separate bathroom. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very small but the beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. This place is a pretty good base for exploring the area. Novigrad is a small pretty town with a fishing harbour and some lovely spots for swimming and enjoying the amazing sunsets. The rest of the area is full of lovely mountain top towns that are wonderful to explore and there are numerous tracks for hiking.

If you’re seeing this, book this home. Nestled in the midst of olive and wine country, you’ll have a beautiful home with an incredible pool and the most wonderful hosts! We began plotting how to get back here within an hour of checking in. You’ll be just 10 minutes from the Adriatic coast, restraints, grocery, etc, but be able to relax and unwind in a quiet and secluded area. We can’t say enough about this. It was wonderful.

If you want peace and quiet and the most welcoming and thoughtful hosts, you should book Vlado’s place. It was clean, parking easy, wifi reliable, the pool is solar heated so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we’d like (late October trip), but we’ll be sure to stay here again if we visit the area in warmer temperatures. Highly recommend!
